In 2017, the Cisco Networking Academy Program was founded, the world's first training program from an IT vendor. Our university is a partner of Cisco Academy. The academy program is part of Cisco's corporate social responsibility, so participation is free for educational institutions and their students. In the academies, students study network technologies, cybersecurity, the Internet of Things, operating systems, and programming. To date, 9.8 million students from 10,400 academies have completed the training.
In Ukraine, 130 thousand students from more than four hundred academies have joined the training. In September 2019, the Ukrainian community of instructors turned 20 years old. Selected courses have been translated into Ukrainian, and the course translation initiative is ongoing. NN IMIT is a partner of Cisco Academy.
