The Innovation Center for IT Solutions (CIT) is an educational and scientific unit of the Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies of the State University of Economics "Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University (LNU)" , is aimed at studying, developing, implementing and disseminating new, innovative engineering and technical solutions in the field of IT among students, teachers, civil servants, schoolchildren and the population of the region based on the use of modern computing and engineering and technical equipment.
IT Solutions Center ERIMIT LNU was established within the framework of the agreement ENI/2018/398-605 – EU Support for Eastern Ukraine – Recovery, Peacebuilding and Governance with the financial support of the European Union
It is fully equipped with equipment and software in order to be a consulting platform for the implementation of digital tools in various systems on this basis. Taking into account the general structure of Taras Shevchenko LNU, the IT Solutions Center creates the basis for information support of the educational process, contributes to the improvement of the qualifications of specialists of state and other institutions.
Myrhorod SCIT NNIMIT LNU pursues a policy of open communication and offers:
- creating places for students of educational institutions (including vocational colleges) to undergo training and other types of practice;
- implementing modern virtual computing systems based on VMware vSphere and VMware Horizon solutions and deploying various software on the Internet;
- creating educational virtual computer operating systems Windows and Linux;
- providing assistance in implementing, configuring and supporting information systems at various levels;
- providing assistance in deploying, implementing, configuring various software tools and creating Web systems;
- advanced training for teachers of secondary schools and lyceums, teachers of educational institutions of I-IV levels of accreditation;
- conducting events on digital education of the population, civil servants, and education seekers;
- cooperation with state authorities and local governments, with other institutions and organizations, in order to increase the level of proficiency in computer electronic means;
- development of technical tasks for the implementation of new software in regional communities in order to transition to exclusively digital interaction between structural units of the relevant council and districts, authorities, the state, as well as with community residents;
- сcreation of a platform for the transfer of Internet of Things technologies between different areas of the economy in the region.
The main direction of activity in the current 2024 was the setup of an additional information system to support the bulk process in the conditions of remote work of students and teachers of various specialties. In its work, the CIT closely cooperates with the DISENP laboratory and other structural units of Taras Shevchenko Lviv National University:
- additional virtual resources were set up for 1st year students of the National Institute of Mathematics and Physics;
- a specialized Turnkey seismograph was set up and implemented into the educational process for students of the National Institute of Mathematics and Physics;
- an additional virtual resource was implemented for free plagiarism checking;
- work was started on the implementation of virtual resources for civil servants and master's students of the National Institute of Mathematics and Physics;
- work was started on the creation of a unified corporate network between the divisions of the city of Myrhorod and the divisions of the city of Lubny.
